The Buffalo River is home to many species of Tennessee fauna and flora. Deer, fox, turtles, racoons, and many more live near the bank of the Buffalo River. 


Birdwatchers bring your binoculors, the skies above the Buffalo contain a full array of birds. Watch hawks soar above the treetops and cranes dance across the water.


The Buffalo River is a fisherman's paradise. Home to some of the most diverse aquatic life in the world. Bring your fishing pole and be prepared to fight the Small Mouth Bass. The Buffalo River is excellent for fly fishing. Much of the river can be waded.

The Buffalo River is a fisherman's paradise and home of a very diverse aquatic life. Bring your fishing pole or participate in a guided fishing tour.  Fishing tours are available on the river.
